EEH-Solutions' work in a Conservation area

Taking on the difficulty of working on a Heritage Site, EEH-Solutions performed a external application of Diathonite (cork based render) at a 60mm thickness as a hybrid with EWI to the rear. The project in Letchworth Garden City, located in a conservation area, required careful work to ensure the historical significance remained undisturbed. EEH-Solutions were granted to work on various dwellings directly from the Letchworth Garden City (LGC) Heritage Foundation to begin approved work, as any unapproved maintenance can lead to a complete removal of the home’s historical significance.

OCTOBER 2020 - 2021: GREEN HOME GRANT SCHEME (GHG)

Taking part in GHG, EEH-Solutions have acted as a tailor to the homeowner’s specific need, the scheme used as a voucher for eligible members of the public and providing funding to install External Wall Insulations (EWI) into their home. EEH-Solutions were able to source leads and manage the various properties from start to finish independently.

APRIL 2022 - APRIL 2023: SUSTAINABLE WARMTH

The following Case Study explores how Eco Efficient Home Solutions have taken part in the Sustainable Warmth grant scheme – focusing on the partnership between EEH-Solutions, GSE energy hub and Warmworks.

During this scheme, EEH-Solutions was under contract for GSE, also partnered with a managing agent Warmworks and covered approximately 200 square miles across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and North London.

ONGOING: The Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF)

The following Case Study explores how Eco Efficient Home Solutions (EEH) have taken part in the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) 2.1– focusing on EWI operations of applying mechnical rendered EWI system (Weber XP therm). At EEH, we have been working with the client Settle, partnered alongside the principle contractor Wates and Designer Ambue. In this arrangement, EEH has acted as an External Wall Insulation (EWI) subcontractor, conducting all enabling works, technical surveys, PAS documentation, quality and building control as well as project and site management. These operations included working on retrofit projects on a larger scale within North Hertfordshire.
